Remembrance Sunday parade
Farnham will come together for the town’s annual Remembrance Parade and Service, honouring the men and women who gave their lives in service to their country.
The parade will form in Castle Street from 10am before setting off for the war memorial, where there will be a service. At 11am, the town will pause for the traditional two-minute silence, followed by the sounding of the Last Post, readings, and the laying of wreaths.
After the service, the parade will continue with a march past. Members of the armed forces, uniformed services, youth organisations, and dignitaries will take part, with the Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Graham White and visiting guests taking the salute outside the Town Hall on South Street.
To allow the event to proceed safely, temporary road closures will be in place.
The parade and service are organised by Farnham Town Council in collaboration with the Royal British Legion (Farnham). Additional services will also take place in Badshot Lea, The Bourne, Hale, Rowledge, Weybourne, and Wrecclesham.
