Farnham Literary Festival’s Schools Programme:

Farnham Town Council is dedicated to nurturing a love of reading and creativity in the students of our local schools. In partnership with The Blue Bear Bookshop and the generous support of our sponsors, the Farnham Literary Festival is delighted to invite young people to connect with inspiring local talents, bestselling authors and creative voices from across the literary world.

In 2027, the Schools Programme facilitated author visits to 13 local schools, benefitting an estimated 2,000 children. The initiative aims to inspire confidence, curiosity and a lifelong connection to books.

This dynamic programme is made possible thanks to the steadfast support of Farnham Town Council, our incredible sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and the talented authors who share their stories with our community.

Join us in 2027 for another inspiring celebration of stories, creativity and community at the Farnham Literary Festival Schools Programme.
