Sunday Caretaker / Grounds & Facilities Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Sunday Caretaker.

This role involves maintaining public green spaces and facilities, including opening and closing duties, general upkeep, and cleaning responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

Opening and locking green spaces and public toilets
Cleaning public toilet facilities
Collecting rubbish (including in Gostrey Meadow and surrounding green spaces)
Light gardening duties such as watering and weeding (seasonal, mainly summer months)

Working hours

9am – 1.30pm

4pm – 6pm

Includes: opening duties, watering and weeding during the summer months, midday cleaning and rubbish collection, followed by evening lock-up.

About you

Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently
Comfortable with outdoor work in all weather conditions
Practical and hands-on approach
