The Farnham Food and Drink Festival is set to return for the 18th year in September 2026.

Farnham Town Council welcomes you to the annual Farnham Food and Drink Festival.

Held at the start of British Food Fortnight, Farnham’s Food and Drink Festival is now one of the biggest one-day food festivals in the South East of England and one of the most anticipated events in the Farnham calendar. Over 100 food and drink traders will be tempting you with a range of delicious delights including sweet treats, street food and unique cuisine.


When

Sunday 27 September 2026, 10am to 4pm

Location

The festival will take place in Farnham Town Centre, in The Borough, East Street, Bush Hotel Courtyard and Brightwells.

The monthly Farnham Farmers’ Market will be held in Central Car Park on Sunday 27 September from 10am – 1pm.

Getting to the Farnham Food Festival

The town centre will be busy, avoid driving if possible.

Road Closures 

The Borough (East) and East Street will be closed on Sunday 27 September from 5am – 8pm. Drivers will still be able to turn right at the bottom of Castle Street onto The Borough (West).

Free hoppa bus

Between 10am and 4.30pm, we will be operating a free hoppa bus service covering north and south Farnham. The buses will run at 15-20 minute intervals (dependent on traffic) and will drop you directly at the festival.

The stops, which are all official bus stops, are as follows:

North Farnham – Hale route

Drovers Way > Hale School > Vicarage Lane > St John’s Church > Farnham Hospital North > Farnham Leisure Centre (Food Festival stop)

North Farnham – Badshot Lea route

Farnham Hospital > Mill Stream (Elm Tree Pub) > Beech Tree Drive > Sainsbury’s Water Lane > Farnham Leisure Centre (Food Festival stop)

South Farnham 

The Chantrys > Bardsley Drive > Green Lane > Ridgeway Hill Road > Morley Road > Downing Street (Food Festival stop)

Parking

Parking is free in all Waverley Borough Council pay and display car parks on Sundays.

Farnham has several bike racks a short walk from the festival location, please see here.

Bus

Details of local bus services are published by Surrey County Council.

Train

The Borough is approximately a 10-minute walk from Farnham Railway Station. Plan your journey in advance.
