Town wards
Farnham’s ward boundaries have changed following a review in 2022 by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE).
- Badshot Lea and Moor Park
- Bourne
- Castle
- Farnham North West
- Hale and Heath End
- Shortheath and Firgrove
- Weybourne
- Wrecclesham and Rowledge
The review also looked at the number of councillors representing Farnham and concluded that the number should reduce from 18 to 16.
Photo id
From 4 May you will need to show photo id when voting in person.
You’ll need one of the following types of photo ID to vote:
- UK or Northern Ireland photocard driving licence (full or provisional)
- driving licence issued by the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the Isle of Man or any of the Channel Islands
- UK passport
- passport issued by the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or a Commonwealth country
- PASS card (National Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
- Blue Badge
- Voter Authority Certificate
- Anonymous Elector’s Document
You can also use one of the following travel passes as photo ID when you vote:
- older person’s bus pass
- disabled person’s bus pass
- Oyster 60+ card

- Thursday 4 May – The Farnham electorate voted for town councillors
- Sunday 7 May – Votes were counted
- Tuesday 9 May – Elected councillors take up their new role
- Thursday 18 May – Farnham Town Councillors elect a new Mayor of Farnham
Retiring councillors
A number of councillors will not be standing for re-election this year.
