Some of the projects and campaigns happening in and around Farnham.

Farnham in Bloom – A year-round initiative providing opportunities for people to get involved and improve their local environment.

Bourne Conservation – Assist with the maintenance and improvement of public open areas and rights-of-way in the Bourne.

Farnham Biodiversity Group – a voluntary group whose aim is to draw up and put into practice a detailed Biodiversity Action Plan for Farnham.

Tice’s Meadow – Volunteer work parties at this award winning nature reserve near Badshot Lea.

Badshot Lea Bloomers – Volunteers organise and coordinate activities to enhance the local environment. 

Friends’ groups – We have Friends’ Groups for our gardens, open spaces and cemeteries. Email bloom@farnham.gov.uk to find out more. 

RSPB Farnham Heath – A project to restore conifer plantations to heath and acid grassland. 

Farm Community Farm – A community supported agriculture scheme

Farnham Repair Café – A place for local people to get free advice and assistance on repairing a range of household items. 

Plastic Free Farnham – Aiming to earn ‘Plastic free Community’ status for Farnham under the Surfers Against Sewage scheme. 

Farnham Infrastructure Programme – Tackling the town’s air quality and congestion issues.

Waverley hoppa Community Transport – Supporting hoppa on its journey to reduce its carbon footprint. 

Farnham Cycle Campaign – Aiming to create a network of segregated cycle tracks in Farnham.
