Birdworld

Birdworld is home to over 1,200 birds and a variety of indoor and outdoor play ensuring there is plenty to see and do to make a fun day out for all the family.

Spend the day exploring the Park which includes the birds, Indoor & Outdoor play and multiple food points including our Play Barn Cafe.

Discover over 200 different species of animals from all over the world including penguins, parrots, flamingos and much more.

Throughout the day, enjoy a jam-packed programme of daily talks and watch live animal feeds to learn more about the park’s animals and their habitats.

Conservation is at the heart of the park’s offering and visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about how Birdworld is helping to preserve the world’s bird population, through its breeding and conservation projects.

Birdworld Attractions and Animals

Penguin Beach are is home to our African colony of penguins. Watch them jump and dive for their lunch during daily penguin feeds and you can even take part in a penguin feeding experience!

Love & Colour features a range of birds with interactive activities in a rainbow of colours.

Owl Academy is a quieter corner of the park dedicated to the most majestic group of birds – owls! You can see distinctive owl species in this exhibit including Snowy Owls and Burrowing Owls.

Birdworld Food & Drink

The Play Barn Cafe is our new largest cafe with a wide range of items for all to enjoy!

The Palm Cafe is serving a selection of sandwiches, snacks and hot food throughout the day, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Costa Coffee is now served throughout Birdworld in the Café and at all kiosks.

Kiosks are conveniently located throughout the park for all your snack and refreshment needs.

Birdworld Events
Daily Events. Enjoy a varied selection of educational talks and live animal feeds throughout your visit. Please note that timings are subject to change and are available seasonally. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels to see what will be happening on the day of your visit.

Birdworld Conservation
Birdworld is home to some of the world’s rarest birds and 40% of the species that live at the park are threatened with extinction. Birdworld is a BIAZA accredited zoo, part of a network of zoos across the country that provide high standards of animal welfare, education, research and conservation.

Birdworld is helping to preserve the world’s bird population, through its breeding and conservation projects.

Opening times

Birdworld is open every day (apart from Christmas Day) from 10am – 5:00pm (BST) and 10am – 4:30pm (GMT). Last admissions are an hour before closing.

By car

3 miles south of Farnham on the A325. Well signposted from the M3, junction 4. Easily accessible from the M25.

Parking

Free parking on site, with designated parking for disabled guests.

By train

Travel on the South Western Railway service that runs between London Waterloo and Alton, with stops at Aldershot, Farnham and Bentley.

By bus

The Stagecoach Bus service collects visitors from Farnham or Aldershot train station and drops them directly outside Birdworld.
