Transparency and Openness

The Government’s Transparency Code 2015 aims to give local people greater access to the data held by councils. The purpose is to increase democratic accountability and enable people to see how council tax and public money is spent.

As a council which has a gross annual income or expenditure (whichever is the greatest) of above £200,000, Farnham Town Council makes the following data available with lots more additional information available in the Document Library:

The Government requires local authorities to publish details of each individual item of expenditure that exceeds £500. Farnham Town Council has chosen to show all expenditure over £100.
