Farnham Chamber of Commerce was established in the 1920’s. The chamber works specifically for its members, which includes; retailers, companies in the manufacturing sector, service providers, non-commercial organisations and local education bodies. The chamber has approximately 150 members.
Committee members work hard on behalf of the broader membership, via their many contacts and associations, to ensure members’ interests are best served. The enormous value of networking for both existing and new businesses is recognised through regular business exchange, information seminars and other social events.
The Chamber Committee is active in contributing to the discussions on the many schemes and initiatives, such as road networks to benefit the flow of traffic in and around the town, which will, in the long term, result in better trading conditions. In addition to a regular newsletter, Farnham Chamber of Commerce has produced a comprehensive directory, that will allow members to gain access to valuable commercial contacts and to advertise and promote their own businesses.
