Workshop: Memoir Writing

Have you ever wanted to write about your own life but didn’t know where to start? Have you started but need help? This interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to learn the basics of memoir, exercises to help you put pen to paper and ideas to continue. All abilities welcome. Morning coffee will be served.

The session will be run by local author, Samantha Stacey, who has co-created a historical play based on Marianne Young’s book, Aldershot and all about it, and is writing a memoir Intimate Strangers while also working on a collection of autobiographical poems.
