At the Waverley Singers Choral Workshop, you will explore the deep emotions of Dvorak’s Stabat Mater. The work is deeply rooted in Dvořák’s sincere religious faith and imbued with the spirit of Czech folk music, making it a cornerstone of the choral repertoire.

On the day:
Doors open at 10:00am for registration and we will start promptly at 10:30am
Please bring a packed lunch and your own mug
Tea, coffee and cake will be available at the intervals

While we are not planning to perform the Dvorak Stabat Mater this season, we would like to offer experienced singers the opportunity to sing with us at Guildford Cathedral on 21st March 2026. The programme of music by Vaughan Williams includes Paul Drayton’s choral version of The Lark Ascending, the Mass in G and Te Deum in G. If you are interested in joining Waverley Singers for the spring term 2026, please contact their Membership Secretary, Carolyn, at [email protected].
