Hosted by Katie Tyler, Digital Overload brings authors Dr Martha Deiros Collado (The Smartphone Solution) and TJ Power (The DOSE Effect) together to explore how constant connectivity is reshaping children’s attention, wellbeing and relationships. Drawing on psychology and neuroscience, they will unpack when and how to give your child a smartphone, reducing screentime, balancing connection and boundaries in modern childhood and the science behind our addiction.

Dr Martha Deiros Collado provides empowering advice for parents at @dr.martha.psychologist. She is a clinical psychologist and mother of two, dedicated to empowering parents with the tools and knowledge to better understand their children. For over 20 years, she has worked within paediatric medical teams in the NHS, meeting with thousands of families and blending scientific insights with practical strategies to create lasting change. Dr Martha believes that parenting is a journey of growth and her mission is to make the science of psychology accessible, helping parents become the caregivers they aspire to be. She emphasizes the importance of nurturing the parent-child relationship while encouraging parents to meet their own needs, knowing that self-care is key to effective parenting.

Tj Power is the lead neuroscientist at the DOSE Lab and the instant Sunday Times Bestselling author of The DOSE Effect. He created the DOSE®️framework (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Endorphins), and his research lab investigates how our modern, sedentary, digital lifestyles are shaping our biochemistry.
