space2grow
A beautifully wild garden in the heart of Farnham connecting local people in nature.
Activities at space2grow centre around an acre of land in the heart of Farnham. There are opportunities to get involved in general gardening, specific projects such as creating a pond or wellbeing activities for teens and other age groups. Parenting classes and a Men in Sheds group also take place.
space2grow is an award winning project and in 2023 it achieved Level 5 Outstanding in the It’s Your Neighbourhood category of South & South East in Bloom.
space2grow is a community project in the centre of Farnham, it is located behind St. Andrews Churchyard.
The best place to park is in the Waggon Yard car park (Postcode: GU9 7PS).
To get to the venue walk along Lower Church Lane, towards St. Andrews Church and go up the steps into St. Andrew’s churchyard.
Keeping the Church on your right, take the path that leads diagonally away to your left and walk along the path to the South West corner where you will find a narrow path leading round a corner, to the left sign posted to the Bishops Meadow.
As you turn the corner and walk down the path you’ll find a large wooden door, there is a little gold plaque to the right of the door which has our website on it – space2grow.space
Give the door a good push and come and find us on the acre.
The door is only open on scheduled volunteering days and you must email in advance of your first visit. ([email protected])
