Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a direct partnership between consumers and a local farm. Members typically pay an upfront subscription fee to the farm at the beginning of the growing season, which helps the farm cover its operational costs and share the risks of farming. In return, members receive regular shares of the farm’s harvest, usually in weekly or bi-weekly boxes of fresh, seasonal produce, and sometimes other farm goods like eggs or meat.
