Enter the ballot to win tickets for the Civic Christmas Carol Service
The ballot for Farnham’s Civic Christmas Carol Service is now open to the public.
For the thirteenth year running, award-winning Farnham Youth Choir will perform at this traditional carol service hosted by the Mayor of Farnham on Wednesday 3 December at St Andrew’s Church, Farnham.
Half the available tickets will be given to representatives of local community organisations as a thank you for their service and half will be given away in the public ballot.
Farnham Youth Choir (FYC) is one of the UK’s leading upper voice choirs for 11-18 year-olds, offering exceptional performance opportunities of secular and sacred music covering many different styles. The choir undertakes annual tours within the UK or abroad.
Following more than three decades of exceptional success under Founder/Director David Victor-Smith, FYC continued to thrive under the dynamic direction of Joanna Tomlinson winning two gold medals at the European Choir Games in 2019. Now led by Patrick Barrett (who took over as Artistic Director of FYC in January 2021) the choir continues to go from strength to strength, most recently winning two gold medals at the World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand in 2024.
To apply for free tickets, please email [email protected] by 27 November.
All tickets will be allocated in advance of the service. There will be no tickets available on the door.
