How to apply for a stall at the Sustainability Festival 2023.


About the Festival

Only suitable for stalls with a commitment to sustainability.

The Sustainability Festival which is on Sunday 11 June 2023 is the launch event for Farnham’s summer programme of events. In Partnership with Farnham Community Farm, the Festival will be a celebration and gathering of local companies and groups who are invested in Sustainability. There will stalls, live music, talks and discussions, kids’ fun and local food and drink.

Over the past six years (apart from 2020!) the festival has brought together a wide variety of people who are committed to ensuring that their products and services have low or beneficial impact on the environment. We also welcome charities who promote conservation and ideas for sustainable living. 

In order to ensure that we have a good mix of stalls, please use the space below to tell us a bit about how you feel your business/group embraces sustainability.  Specific examples are encouraged.  Please note that if you are selling products and/or distributing leaflets etc, we expect a commitment to sustainability to be reflected in those activities, i.e. NO single use plastic, plastic bags, littering or unnecessary waste.

Please note that all funds raised from pitch fees got to Farnham Community Farm to help run this not for profit organisation.

Stallholders

If you are a stallholder and would like to apply for a stall at the Sustainability Festival, please complete the application form.

  • Each pitch space is 3 metres by 3 metres. Gazebos, electricity and tables are at an additional cost. If you are unsure what category you are in please email events@farnham.gov.uk

    Please email accounts@farnham.gov.uk if you would like to apply for a 10% discount if your business is located within the GU9/GU10 postcode areas. Please note that your application will initially be in a review process. If you have not heard from us within 2 weeks please contact events@farnham.gov.uk. If you are selected we require full payment within 28 days of the invoice date to confirm your space either by BACS to: HSBC. Sort code: 40-21-05. Account number 31141023. IMPORTANT: Please put reference to your stall name. Or pay by cheque addressed to Farnham Town Council, Council Offices, South Street, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7RN.

    If you are intending to sell alcohol you will need a personal licence. You will NOT need to apply for a TENS licence.
