SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL IN EXERCISE OF ITS POWERS UNDER SECTION 14 (2) OF The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers hereby gives notice that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in that length of (D5353) Drovers Way, Farnham between its junction with Folly Hill and its junction with Coniston Drive, a distance of 94 metres and/or any part and/or parts therein. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Trinity Hill, Spring Lane, Upper Hale Road and Folly Hill.

This Notice is required to enable highway maintenance and/or carriageway surfacing/patching works to be carried out on behalf of Surrey County Council. The Notice will come into effect on 1st December 2016 for a period of five days; these works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 07:00hrs and 17:00hrs during this period of time. The prohibition will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and to the extent indicated by those traffic signs. Access will be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians.

The prohibition referred to above will not apply in respect of anything done: a)        with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; b)        in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police.
