Museum of Farnham, Pop up craft for families. 2pm

Free art and craft making workshops using recycled materials. Families of all ages and abilities are supported in creating fun and simple craft! Just turn up, no need to book. It may be necessary to limit numbers or introduce time slots if it gets too busy.

Step back in time at the largest countryside museum in the South East.

The Sculpture Park, Churt

Set within an enchanting arboretum and wildlife inhabited water garden which creates the perfect haven for artists and collectors to display and buy sculpture. You should set aside between two and four hours for your visit as with two miles of trail and 10 acres this park is much larger than most anticipate.

This fun course is for all children aged 4 and over who would like to make a beautiful sweet tree to take home. All materials provided and Tamzin and Claire from A Sweet Affair will be there to teach and help them to create their truly individual masterpieces. Suitable for ages 4+

Farnham Castle Keep, with free entry.

Standing on the crest of a hill overlooking the town of Farnham are the impressive motte and ‘shell keep’ of a castle founded in 1138 by Henry of Blois, Bishop of Winchester and brother of King Stephen. In medieval times the diocese of Winchester was the richest in England, and Farnham was a favourite residence of the bishops. The castle was rebuilt in the late 12th and early 13th centuries, but a viewing platform reveals the buried remains of an earlier tower. Check for opening times and accessibility.

Birdworld Penguin Activity Week

Take part in some penguin themed arts and crafts and complete Birdworld’s penguin trail around the park. Learn more about the penguins as you watch the keepers feeding them at 11.00am & 3.30pm. Keep your eyes open as you may even see Percy the penguin around the park throughout the week.

Create & Grow at Squires Garden Centre

Keep the little ones entertained this half term, drop in from Monday 15 to Friday 19 February 10am – 4pm. Give a Gnome a Home – Paint your own Gnome to put on your windowsill or in your garden to look after the beautiful plants – £4. There is also a FREE Gnome colouring competition and garden maze for you to take part in where you will receive a sticker and a chance to win a prize. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
