An independent Farnham shoe shop that was crowned Independent Family Footwear Retailer of the Year 2015 has received a visit from the Mayor of Farnham, Cllr Mrs Pat Frost.

Bowleys Fine Shoes is a sponsor of Farnham in Bloom and throughout the summer the shop entrance on The Borough has been flanked by a stunning hanging basket.

Cllr Mrs Pat Frost says: “Farnham is proud of its independent retailers and Bowleys is no exception. The shop opened in Farnham in 2000 and has recently undergone a refurbishment. I would like to offer my congratulations to Bowleys for winning an award that is much coveted in the footwear industry and to thank the team for their support of Farnham in Bloom.”

Vanessa Cook who is a director at Bowleys says: “We support Farnham in Bloom because it’s very important to us that we work with the local community and interact with other businesses here in the town. The town certainly always looks colourful and appealing, something which we are keen to maintain to attract shoppers.”
