Farnham Town Council invites residents, community groups, and businesses to showcase their green spaces by entering the 2025 Secret Gardens of Farnham competition. This annual event celebrates the town’s most imaginative front and back gardens, wildlife havens, courtyards, and creative hanging baskets and containers and the contribution they make to Farnham in Bloom.
The competition is open to anyone in Farnham, including Badshot Lea, Hale, Upper Hale, The Bourne, Boundstone, Heath End, Moor Park, Rowledge, Weybourne, Wrecclesham, and the town centre.
Councillor Mat Brown, Lead Member for Environment says: “Participating in the Secret Gardens competition is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your gardening skills and be part of a community celebration of nature. We also hope your entry will inspire others to take part and create even more sustainable and wildlife-friendly spaces.”
Judging will take place in late July/August and each entry will receive a judges’ report and an award certificate. Winners will be announced at the Farnham in Bloom Awards Ceremony in October at Squire’s Garden Centre, Badshot Lea. Squire’s is a Gold sponsor of Farnham in Bloom.
To enter, please complete the online entry form available at www.farnham.gov.uk/bloom. Entries must be submitted by Friday 4 July.
