Farnham Town Council is delighted to announce the return of the Farnham Walking Festival, taking place from 10 May to 1 June 2025. This annual event offers a diverse programme of guided walks which aim to celebrate what Farnham’s great outdoors and surrounding areas have to offer.

The festival features a variety of walks catering to all interests and fitness levels, including leisurely strolls, nature trails showcasing local wildlife, and more challenging hikes for seasoned walkers. Each walk is led by a knowledgeable guide, providing participants with insights into Farnham’s unique environment and history.

Councillor Kika Mirylees, Lead Member for Community and Culture says: “I look forward to welcoming you to the tenth Farnham Walking Festival. Over three weeks, we have arranged more than 30 walks. I would like to give my thanks to Farnham & District Ramblers for leading so many of the walks as well as the many other volunteer guides. Each guide has specialist knowledge about their route which will make for some very informative walks.”

Thanks to support from the Principal sponsors, Kidd Rapinet and Shaw Gibbs, most of the walks are free to attend although one or two invite a donation for charity.
