Surprise guest performs at Music in the Vineyard

Group of musicians and the Mayor on stage.

Music in the Vineyard was a smashing success on Sunday with music enthusiasts gathering for an afternoon of great tunes and surprises!

The TR5’s took to the stage at the Vineyard Centre on Union Road and entertained the crowd with an exceptional performance. Part way through their set, Rod Davis, the legendary skiffle musician from John Lennon’s pre-Beatles band, The Quarrymen, made a surprise appearance. To the delight of the audience, Rod joined the TR5’s on stage and together they played a couple of songs.

Councillor Alan Earwaker, Mayor of Farnham was at the concert and said: “Music in the Vineyard is known for bringing together talented musicians who create a unique atmosphere of great music. The unexpected appearance of Rod Davis was a bonus and was enjoyed by all.”

The final Music in the Vineyard concert for 2023 takes place on Sunday 26 March from 3-5pm. It promises to be another enjoyable experience with live music by Shuffle Tunes.
