Tickets are available to buy now for Farnham’s Gin and Fizz Festival which takes place on Saturday 17 September at a new location, The Kiln in Badshot Lea. Tickets can be purchased at www.farnham.gov.uk/gin-festival.

“Our last gin festival proved to be extremely popular so my tip is to buy your tickets as soon as possible. You are in for a treat as we have planned an even better event for 2022!” says Councillor Kika Mirylees, Lead Member for Tourism and Events. “We have added fizz to the festival which means there will be Champagnes and a variety of sparkling wines to try out along with dozens of gins. We also have a new venue, the historic Kiln in Badshot Lea, and are running two sessions for guests to choose from which means we can accommodate more people without compromising the fun and friendly festival atmosphere.

The festival will feature local, national and worldwide producers, retailers and experts. As well as plenty to taste and take home, there will be demonstrations from mixologists, talks from producers and question and answer sessions from wine, gin and cocktail specialists.

“After the success of previous festivals, we have been able to attract an excellent group of speakers, and suppliers with an enviable selection of gins and sparkling wines. If you are looking for something extra special for a wedding or celebration event, you will be sure to find it at the festival.

“We have also matched our favourite choices of street food with the gin and fizz theme, to offer festival goers a really special afternoon or evening out. There will be two live music stages with an Ed Sheeran tribute act to add to the party atmosphere,” says Councillor Mirylees.

Tickets cost £12.50 plus a booking fee and all guests will receive a souvenir branded gin glass. The festival will take place across two sessions: an afternoon session from 12-4pm and an evening session from 6-10pm.

Among the tipples new for this year are alcohol-free gins and wines as well as the latest brands and flavours on the market. The festival will make use of indoor and outdoor space at The Kiln.
