Children are invited to take part in a free gardening workshop this half term offered by Farnham Town Council as part of its Bloomin’ Kids initiative.

The workshops take place from 10-12pm and 2-4pm on Thursday 27 October and follow the highly successful gardening workshops held over Easter.

“The workshops are very popular so please do book your child’s place as soon as you can,” says Councillor Stephen Hill, Lead member for Community Enhancement. He continues: “Following on from the successes of our Farnham in Bloom activities over the summer, we are keen to enthuse the next generation of gardeners; to get children enjoying getting their hands dirty and thinking about their environment.”

The Bloomin’ Kids workshop will take place in the greenhouses at West Street allotments. Children will be able to plant spring flowering bulbs and winter containers.

Reserve a place.
