Pack a picnic

fairy cakes and, brownies.

Farnham Town Council is encouraging parents and carers to rediscover Farnham during the long summer holidays by packing a picnic and enjoying some of the area’s beautiful parks and open spaces.

Fresh, tasty picnic items can be bought from the Farmers’ Market on Sunday 27 July. There will be a variety of produce on offer that will tempt even the fussiest of eaters! Summer fruits, tasty bread, fresh salad, cake and refreshing cordials are just some of the items available this month.

Councillor Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events says: “Regardless of where you live in Farnham, you are never far from a park, playground or open space. There is plenty of opportunity for children to run around and to explore our great outdoors followed by a delicious picnic of food that has been grown or produced within 50 miles of Farnham.”

Farnham Farmers’ Market is held on the fourth Sunday of every month in Central car park between 10am and 1.30pm. Visit our Farmers’ Market pages to find out more about booking a pitch or email Ginny Gordon.
