Two great musical talents join for twinning anniversary concert
Tickets are on sale for a special concert celebrating the 35th anniversary of friendship between Farnham and its twin town Andernach in Germany.
The concert is on Friday 5 June at the Farnham Maltings and will feature the award-winning Stadtorchester Andernach and the internationally acclaimed Farnham Youth Choir.
Together, these two exceptional musical groups will present a dynamic and richly varied programme, featuring contemporary pop, modern choral works, and a lively 80s flashback filled with popular, much-loved tunes.
The Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Graham White visited Andernach in October 2025 when he was Deputy Mayor and says: “The Mayoress and I received a very warm welcome from our twinning partners, and we are looking forward to returning their hospitality. The concert will be the highlight of the visit and promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music and friendship.”
The concert is organised by Farnham Town Council and sponsored by Specsavers Farnham.
Tickets cost £17.50, and £12 for under 18s. To book, visit the Maltings Box Office in person or online.
