Share Farnham is a community store of free-to-borrow activities and equipment to help keep you busy and active. The store is open to all.

It is led by the Farnham Coronavirus Helpline, and is a joint initiative by the Farnham Maltings, Hale Community Centre, Farnham Town Council and the Farnham Herald.

Where is the community store

From Tuesday 12 May you can visit the community store at:

  • Farnham Maltings (Bridge Square, Farnham. Surrey. GU9 7QR), and
  • Hale Community Centre (The Bungalow, 130 Upper Hale Road, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 0JH.

The stores are run by volunteers and will be open from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 12pm.

How to borrow

If you are unable to visit the store because you are shielding or self-isolating at home, please call the Farnham Coronavirus Helpline helpline on 01252 745446.

How to donate items

More donations are welcome and can be dropped at the Farnham Maltings or Hale Community Centre.

Suggested donations include puzzles and board games, books, musical instruments, garden games, sheet music, craft items, DVDs, toys, exercise equipment and cookery equipment.

Donated items should be clean, quality objects in good condition and working order.

If you are shielding or self-isolating at home, and wish to donate an item(s), please call the Farnham Coronavirus Helpline helpline 01252 745446 to arrange for collection of your items.

Donated items are quarantined for 72 hours.
