Guildford Cathedral is a place of welcome, worship, inspiration and engagement for people of all ages.  It is also a venue for concerts, art and education. Visitors can enjoy this peaceful and inspiring, sacred space.

The Cathedral has an interesting history. Building work began in 1936 but had to be stopped because of the Second World War. Following the Second World War more than 200,000 people donated bricks to help finish the build and securing the future of this iconic modern Cathedral.
