Waverley Borough Council proposes 451 additional houses for Farnham

Waverley Borough Council has consulted on modifications to the Waverley Local Plan Part 1. The proposed modifications allocate an additional 451 houses on top of the agreed 2,330 in the adopted Neighbourhood Plan. This threatens sites at appeal including Waverley Lane, Lower Weybourne Lane, Monkton Lane and Folly Hill.

Farnham Town Council believes a Plan-led approach is best for Farnham and that no additional allocations should take place in the early years of the Neighbourhood Plan. The consultation started on Friday 8 September and ended on Friday 20 October.
