Gardening workshops

Our Bloomin’ Kids Gardening Workshops aim to inspire our next generation of gardeners, from seed sowing to vegetable growing.

The workshops are completely free and will offer aspiring gardeners the chance to sow seeds and prick out seedlings whilst learning exciting facts and practical skills.

Our workshops are held at Farnham Town Council’s Greenhouses over the Easter and autumn half term breaks.

Feedback from previous workshops:

In April we held a number of gardening workshops aimed at parents/carers and their children. The workshops were enjoyed by everybody and these are some of the comments we received:

“Learning about gardening in a fun and practical way was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Phoebe was very proud to bring home her handiwork; gardening apron (recycled from a compost bag – ingenious!), along with freshly potted sweet peas, chard, salad leaves and broad beans.”

“I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and everyone else involved in putting on last Thursday’s Gardening Workshop. Martin and the team, were friendly, patient and informative.

“I can’t praise the workshops enough, it was a fantastic family activity to do together and we couldn’t believe we got to bring home some plants as well so thank you. Please keep us on the mailing list for future workshops as Isabella has already asked when the next one will be. Many thanks once again we thought it was superb.”
