Clean for the Queen

Two females in high viz jackets holding black sacks and litter pickers.

How to get involved in the national litter pick that has been organised to tidy up Britain for the Queen's 90th birthday.

This spring we are supporting Keep Britain Tidy’s ‘Clean for the Queen’ litter pick campaign.

The idea is to clear up Britain in time for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations in June

How to get involved in the litter pick

We would like to invite individuals, schools, businesses and local organisations to help us to clear up Farnham town centre between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 5 March.

The event is aimed at anybody over the age of five. Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.

We will provide all litter-picking equipment. All we need are some willing volunteers to lend a hand!

Tea and scones

Tea, coffee and cream scones will be available at the Town Council offices. To raise money for work carried out by volunteers from the Farnham in Bloom Community Group, we will invite you to make a voluntary donation for the refreshments.
