Scam Alert

Farnham Town Council has been made aware that a scam email is circulating which claims to represent Farnham Town Council. The emailer is contacting traders to invite them to apply for a pitch at the Farnham Christmas Market.

The email is sent from an @gmail.com domain, rather than an official Farnham Town Council email address which always end in @farnham.gov.uk.

If you receive the email, do not click on any links, reply or send money.

You can forward suspicious emails to [email protected] and if you have made payment, you should contact your bank immediately.

If you are a trader and wish to attend the Christmas Market, please complete our official application form. Farnham Town Council does not use any third-party organisers or websites for the booking and sale of stalls at its events.
