November may be several months away, but plans are already underway for this year’s historic Venison Dinner on Friday 13 November at the Bush Hotel.

This truly unique evening will bring more than 400 years of local tradition to life. First held in 1605, this remarkable event combines heritage, hospitality and community in a way few towns can match.

Councillor Graham White, Mayor of Farnham says: “The dinner was originally held to stop townsfolk from poaching deer from Farnham Park. Nowadays, the dinner appeals less to poachers and more to those who want to experience an elegant, historic dinner with fascinating speakers and ceremonial traditions along with likeminded people who wish to enjoy a relaxed evening and a chance to be part of a living piece of Farnham’s history.”

Whether you are a long-time supporter or attending for the first time, the Venison Dinner promises a memorable night of great food, conversation and civic pride. Email [email protected] to be one of the first to be notified when tickets go on sale.
