Farnham electors can have their voice heard about living in Farnham at the Annual Town Meeting of electors on 20 May.

Town councillors who lead on the council’s key service areas such as tourism, events, community enhancement and cemeteries will give presentations highlighting achievements and plans for the year ahead.

The meeting will be chaired by the new Mayor of Farnham who will be elected on 14 May. The outgoing Mayor, Councillor George Murray says: “The Annual Town Meeting is an important opportunity for electors to hear about the work of the town council and to raise questions or share their views about any issues affecting Farnham. We encourage anyone who cares about the future of the town to come along, find out more and take part in the discussion.”

The meeting will take place in the Redgrave Suite at the Bush Hotel. Doors will open at 5.45pm for a 6pm start.

To assist with meeting arrangements, residents who are registered to vote in Farnham are asked to call 01252 712667 or email [email protected] to confirm their attendance.
