The Spatial Mutuality Symposium will feature artists and filmmakers who have responded to themes of movement, migration of people and materials. How can journeys and ideas of belonging, memory and exile be explored in photography and moving image?

Keynote speakers from the worlds of artists feature filmmaking (Christine Molloy – Desperate Optimists) and academic arts partnerships with the community (Professor Alison Blunt & Olivia Sheringham – Queen Mary, University of London) will present work and concepts addressing key issues in today’s world. Presentations from Katy Beinart, Estéfani Bouza, Vesna Lukic, Minou Norouzi, John Podpadec, Minna Pöllänen & Will Jennings, and Deniz Sözen.
