At the forefront of the British Jazz movement, Derek Nash has been a member of the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra since 2004, performing both live and on TV with such greats as Eric Clapton, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, Gregory Porter, Emeli Sande, Jessie J, Sir Paul McCartney, Solomon Burke, Annie Lennox, Eddie Floyd, Sam Moore, Madeleine Peyroux, Roger Daltrey, David Sanborn, Eddi Reader and Tom Jones.

Derek is renowned for his energetic, vibrant, passionate and charismatic performances on all four saxophones – from sonorous baritone to soaring soprano – and is an award-winning performer having received the John Dankworth Award and the British Jazz Award (Small Group) for Sax Appeal.

He regularly appears in the British Jazz awards nominations in several categories (Alto/Tenor and Baritone) and was nominated for Jazz Musician of the Year by the Global Music Foundation.

Doors open at 7 pm with live music running from 7.45 pm – 10.15 pm.

Tables & Seating

All reservations/bookings are guaranteed a seat. Seating will be in a cabaret-style format with small tables, or in a theatre-style in rows. Group bookings of 6 or more will be seated together wherever possible.

Supper

Enjoy a home-made chicken or vegetarian ‘Curry In The Box’ before the show at 7 pm (£6.50), served in the Members’ Bar Dining area. No pre-booking is required.
