Children are invited to learn to draw and stitch their initials in this fun and joyful workshop.

Artist Ekta Kaul will gently guide participants to learn simple stitches. These stitches can be used to personalise children’s bags and coats. All materials including fabric, threads and needles will be provided. Children are welcome to bring a personal piece that they’d like to add their monogram on.

Ekta Kaul is an award-winning textile artist known for her embroidered maps. This workshop organised as part of our Surrey Artist of the Year season, and it is supported by Patricia Baines Trust. It is also part of our Craft Month celebrations for our World Craft Town.
