Their music is rich with intertwining harmony, sensitive accomplished musicianship and a creative songwriting style that is both delicate and moving. Deeply inspired by the world around them, they have a keen environmental eye to craft stories with the natural world at its heart, reflecting on the relationship between humans and the wild. Most recently, “Etta’s Song” was featured on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show:… ‘A milestone for contemporary folk songwriting’ – Bright Young Folk ‘A bright, lively collection of songs that plays so sweetly it evokes the sensation of a summer folk festival’ – The Guardian ‘Gorgeous harmonies and lush melodies’ – BBC Countryfile

The Shackleton Trio: Captivating song writing and fiery tunes. The unmistakable sound of The Shackleton Trio brings to life the stories of their native East Anglia, and beyond. Touring their brand new album ‘Mousehold’, the trio features Georgia Shackleton (fiddle, vocals), Aaren Bennett (guitar) and Nic Zuppardi (mandolin, banjo). Collectively, the band draw influence from British, American and Scandinavian folk traditions, whilst Georgia’s flair for sourcing largely unsung material from East Anglia keeps the band firmly rooted in their local tradition.
