Programme of Events

8am–3pm Farnham Bike Ride & Sportive: based in Castle Street This event was established by Farnham Round Table in 2009, attracts cyclists of all ages and abilities and to date has raised over £130,000 for local good causes. We’re delighted that it is part of the Festival this year. There are four circular routes to choose from – 16, 25, 50 and 75 miles – all starting and finishing in central Farnham.

10am–4pm Festival Velo Village: Farnham Maltings

The Velo Village is the place for well-established companies, independent companies and first-time exhibitors to show, demonstrate and sell their products and/or services. It’s a hub for cycle-related talks, workshops, cinema, children’s activities, demonstrations, fitness classes, food and drink. ​ 4-5pm Hoops Velo Hill Climb: Firgrove Hill The hill climb takes place on Firgrove Hill with prizes for age and gender categories and also for the fastest team and fastest riders of vintage, folding and mountain bikes.


5.30-7.45pm Pedal Heaven Town Centre Races

women’s race    17:30–18:30 men’s race        18:30–19:45 TCRs, such as happen annually in Guildford and other towns around the country, provide an exciting spectacle of fast and furious racing for up to 120 licensed riders on a closed-road circuit of the town centre.
