Alastair Shanks, Dementia Friends Champion and Managing Director at Right at Home GF, is running a free dementia awareness session for Dementia Action Week.
This will be an informal and interactive session during which Alastair will dispel myths and provide an insight into what dementia is and how it impacts on people’s lives. He will also offer some top tips on the dos and don’ts of interacting with someone living with dementia and how it feels from the point of view of the person with the condition.”
