Farnham & District Museum Society was formed in 1963 to support the Museum of Farnham which had opened two years earlier at Willmer House, 38 West Street. Its aims are to stimulate interest in the history, archaeology etc of the locality. The Society produces a quarterly Journal, holds a series of evening talks at the United Reformed Church in South Street from September to April, as well a running a programme of afternoon seminars at the Museum of Farnham in its Garden Gallery, from September to June.
