Phyllis Tuckwell is the only hospice care charity for adult patients and their families across the whole of West Surrey and part of North-East Hampshire, an area of 550,000 residents. For over 40 years it has provided specialist supportive and end of life care to those who are living with an advanced or terminal illness (such as cancer, heart, lung or neurological disease), and it offers this care on its In-Patient Unit, through its Living Well programmes and outpatient appointments, and in patients’ own homes or care homes.

It is currently building a new Hospice on its existing site in Farnham, and for the duration of the build will provide its specialist services from alternative locations. Its In-Patient Unit services will be temporarily relocated to a 10-room wing at Kings Lodge care home in Camberley; its community support will be managed from its Beacon Centre site in Guildford and an office facility at Headway House in Farnham; and its outpatient appointments and Living Well sessions will run at the Beacon Centre. The charity aims to move into the new Hospice by January 2026.
