The popular Otter Wey art project which has delighted Farnham residents and visitors of all ages will conclude with the best decorated otters being auctioned.

Some of the otters will be sold in a silent auction while others will go under the hammer at a live auction on Monday 9 July.

There will be one last chance to see the otters together when they go on display at Farnham Castle between 12 noon and 4pm on the day of the auction. Entry to the castle is free and everybody is welcome to visit.

Silent auction

To bid for your favourite otter in the silent auction, please download the auction bidding form. The deadline for submitting your bid is 4pm on Monday 9 July. The outcome of the silent auction will be announced on 9 July.

Live auction

Entry to the live auction is by ticket only and there are just 150 tickets available. If you wish to take part in the live auction, you will also need to register to bid.

Entry to the live auction will be from 6pm. There will be drinks and canapes on arrival.

The auction will start at 6.30pm and will be run by Bonhams.

About the project

The fundraising community art project was adopted by the former Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Mike Hodge to raise money for to raise money for Woodlarks and Brightwells Gostrey Centre, which are the charities he supported during his Mayoral year. It is anticipated that the project will raise a significant sum of money for the two charities. The total amount raised will be announced shortly after the auction.

The project was run by Farnham Lions, Blooming Arts and Councillor Hodge. Additional support was given by the Farnham South Street Trust and the Farnham Institute charities.
