The West Street Artists and Makers market is returning to Farnham on Sunday 21 May.
The market will run from 10am-4pm and there will be 40 stalls celebrating artists and craft makers from Farnham and beyond selling an eclectic mix of handmade work.
To allow the market to take place, South East Water is putting in place the following traffic management measures for one day only:
- West Street will be closed to vehicles between The Hart and Downing Street from 5am to 5.30pm on 21 May. This is where the market will be located.
- Vehicles will be able to access The Hart when approaching Farnham via Coxbridge roundabout. One lane will remain closed on West Street so traffic coming into Farnham from the west and leaving from The Hart will be controlled by traffic lights.
- South East Water will reinstate the West Street closure on Monday 22 May which means there will be no vehicular access to the town from Coxbridge roundabout.
The market is organised by ACVR Events in partnership with Farnham Town Council. The road works are the responsibility of South East Water.
