Farnham Town Centre

- The Borough shopping street

- The Lion and Lamb
Farnham is a town that successfully combines the old with the new. The buildings, even though they have Georgian fronts are often found to conceal structures of Tudor and even earlier times. The town has strenuously resisted pressures to destroy its native character and it is a mecca for the enthusiast of Georgian street architecture. Few other small towns have so many excellent examples of mellow red brickwork and 18th century carved doorways in such a small area.
This section of the website aims to inform you about shopping, Maltings market and the Farmers' markets, which take place in the town centre.
