Farmers' Market

- Tomatoes for sale at the Farnham Farmers' Market.
Farnham Town Council organises a Farmers’ Market on the fourth Sunday of every month where you can buy fresh produce direct from the producer.
At the market you can expect to find blue vein cheese from Dorking, honey from Sandhurst, chicken and duck from Guildford, roses from Farnham, Aberdeen Angus Beef from Shacklesford, trout and smoked fish from Liphook along with many other products.
Farmers’ Markets enable the producers and growers to sell their products direct to the customers which means fresher and tastier food because fewer food miles are travelled, and the opportunity to talk to the person that has grown, reared, baked, produced etc the product you are buying.
Many stall holders are happy to provide free tasting sessions before you buy and are happy to give recipe ideas.
For the dates of the 2007 markets download a copy of the 2007 Diary Dates leaflet.
