Guided Walks in Farnham
Farnham has a number of interesting guided walks in the town centre which are available all year round.
The guided walks are led by Farnham people who are very knowledgeable about many different aspects of Farnham's long history.

The guided walks are organised by the Farnham Town Walks team and are held on the first Sunday of each month, starting at the Wagon Yard Car Park, at 11am. The team will also organise walks for private groups outside of these times.
Walks cost £3 per person and are ideal for visitors and residents alike, with a donation made to charity.
The knowledgeable guides point out things of interest - have you noticed the cat on the roof in West Street?, and also explain why things are the way they are – like why the down pipes at the bottom of Castle Street have hop bines going up them. For more information or for exact dates visit the Farnham Town Walks website or email the Farnham Town Walks Chairman.

Walks for Health
Walks for health is a Waverley Borough Council scheme which is part of the national Walking the Way to Health initiative.
Walks in Farnham happen every Tuesday at 10.30am and all leave from Brightwell's Gostrey Centre on Dogflud Way. All walks start by walking through the town centre and then heading out to some of the nearby countryside surrounding the town centre, lasting 40mins to one hour.
The walks are led by trained volunteers.
For more information visit the Walks for Health page on Waverley Borough Council's website or contact Helen Boulden either by email or calling 01483 523392.
