A Festival of Gardening

- Allotment Produce

- Rose Garden

- Fred Wikinson
On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July, from 10am – 5pm, the Farnham Maltings will be transformed into a gardener’s paradise to host this very special event, which culminates all of the activities arranged for Farnham Grows.
The festival is a wonderful opportunity for keen gardeners to learn more and for beginners to be inspired to ‘try your hand at growing your own!’
Take a look at the astounding produce grown on Farnham’s allotments. Purchase plants, garden accessories and unique crafts from the busy marketplace and find out about garden design, local growing initiatives and wildlife projects from local organisations.
Enjoy a series of themed displays in the outside courtyard area from our sponsors Forest Lodge Garden Centre. Each of the displays will include unusual and large impact plants and flowers, providing great ideas for your own garden. Plus, the odd chicken and rabbit from Birdworld will change residence for the day to make a lively addition to the displays and will no doubt keep little ones amused!
Experts with a broad spectrum of knowledge on all things green will be on hand to answer any burning horticultural questions in ‘Gardening Question Time’ and they’ll be plenty of opportunities to ‘get stuck in’ with a rolling programme of interactive demonstrations including flower arranging.
Tickets cost £2.50 and can be purchased on the day or bought in advance at from Forest Lodge Garden Centre.
Please visit the Farnham Maltings website for further details.
