Visit the West Street Potters working from the original Farnham Pottery; dip into the town’s arts and craft heritage at the Crafts Study Centre or Museum of Farnham; take in an exhibition at the James Hockey or Foyer Galleries at the University College for the Creative Arts; buy a piece of original art and craft at the New Ashgate Gallery; look out for the original Farnham Pottery gargoyles along the River Wey or visit the Farnham Maltings which houses over 25 creative businesses and presents a thriving programme of events.
Each Autumn Farnham Creates, a partnership of the creative organisations in the town, also presents a Season of Craft. Taking place in various venues and open spaces throughout the town the season showcases the best of contemporary craft from the region.
Farnham’s cultural environment has the capacity to surprise, challenge and delight.
