Public Town Meeting

Each year the Town Council has a duty to hold a meeting for the electors of Farnham.

The Public Town Meeting is an opportunity for the local population to find out what the Town Council has achieved over the past year and to provide feedback to the Council on issues local people believe are important.

At this meeting the 'Annual Report' is presented and within this there is information about the partnerships and organisations that the Town Council works with and how the money is spent that the Town Council allocates as grant funding.

Even if the Town Council does not have the power to act upon an issue, it can often take the issue to the right authority or it will know the right people to talk to.

The next Public Town Meeting will be held on Thursday 5 March 2009.

To see a copy of the previous minutes and to find out more about the Town Meeting please contact Wendy Coulter either by email or telephone 01252 712667.
